I believe a coach needs to be more than trained in leadership or studied in the art of coaching. A coach needs to have been a leader in order to be a great leadership coach. I bring not only a background in coaching, human resources, and leadership development. I am a leader. I bring my experience as a leader to my leadership coaching practice. I walk my talk.

We will use the Leadership Cross-Training model to develop your strengths. If you were a marathon runner and you were trying to improve your time, a coach would not tell you to run more. Instead they would help you to strength train, change your diet, incorporate yoga, etc. The same approach can be applied to improving leadership effectiveness.
